A group of three four-year-olds talk with a World Vision educator at a Child Friendly Space (CFS) in Sakasheti, Georgia, close to the conflict zone where last year’s war took place. The children talk about how they saw tanks come into their village. The CFS is one of 10 spaces that World Vision is creating in schools to enable children like these to interact with their peers in a safe, supervised environment while classes are not in session. World Vision, with the help of the German government, was able to rehabilitate 10 schools and one kindergarten, offering children a brighter start to their disrupted education. Photo by Ann Birch.
